Voting is a privilege to do in this country. Until 1920 women could not vote, African Americans could not vote until 1965. There are still people to this day that have never voted. Jury duty is mandatory, why not voting? Voting should be mandatory because as citizens, is a right and a job to be able to decide the future of this country. In the United States, there are amendments regarding voting. The 12th Amendment, ratified in 1804, specified how the president and vice president are elected(Grover). The stages of grief: Many researchers in this field identified that there are five stages classified for grief due to death of a person or the person himself dying: The stage of denying: In this stage the people who are dying or whose close relatives are dying are not prepared to accept the reality, hence they isolate themselves in order to believe the fact which is supported by others and not themselves (Mallon, 2008).
